We started with the 1 star reviews

The ads in this category are loud. "Gone in 48 hours." "Lasts 90 days." "You'll never see a mouse again." Then you read the reviews and find people who got mice anyway, often within a week, and felt lied to.

What surprised us was how similar the happy reviews were to each other. People who loved their pouches mostly used them in campers, boats, truck cabs and pantries. They put them out in the fall before there was a problem. They swapped them about once a month, and a few of them had worked out on their own to write the date on each one. Some had been buying them every fall for years.

The unhappy ones were usually trying to clear out mice that already lived somewhere, or protect a whole barn with one pouch, or keep groundhogs out of a garden. The product wasn't built for any of that. They'd just been told it was.

So we sell it the way the 5 star reviewers use it

• We say "about 30 days" because that's what a pouch lasts. We'd rather you be surprised it lasted longer.
• We tell you where they don't work, right on the product page, even though it costs us sales.
• We tell you how many pouches each space needs and which offer covers it, so you don't have to guess.
• Every pouch has a date line, so you know when it's time to swap.
• If they don't keep mice out of a space they're meant for, you get your money back, and you keep the pouches.

What we won't do

We won't tell you our pouches protect your family from disease, because that's not something a scent pouch can promise. We won't post reviews we didn't earn. And we won't claim a pouch clears out an infestation. When we don't know something yet, like how a specific setup will hold up in your climate, we'll say so.
