Rodent Repellent Pouches
Helps keep mice from nesting in your camper, car or pantry, so you can stop checking for droppings. No poison bait around kids and pets, just keep the pouches out of their reach.
- Works without killing
- Set it and forget it for a month
- Campers, cars, boats, cabinets
- No mess, no cleanup
- Smells fresh, not like chemicals
- Takes 10 minutes to set up
How it works
Each pouch gives off a strong peppermint, cinnamon and cedarwood scent. Mice lean on their sense of smell, and a closed space that reeks of strong plant oil is one they tend to skip when there's a quieter spot nearby.
It doesn't kill anything, and it won't move mice that are already nesting. It's for keeping a space from being chosen in the first place. See where it works.
Where to place them
- Camper or RV: kitchen cabinets, under the sink, under the bed platform, each storage bay.
- Car or truck: cab floor under a seat, the trunk or frunk. Engine bay only on a stored car, and take it out before you drive.
- Boat: console, cabin, lockers with cushions.
- Home: back of the pantry, under the sink, behind the fridge and stove, garage cabinets.
Along walls, near entry points, out of the breeze. Full placement guide.
How many do I need?
2 for a car, 4 for a camper, 6 for a motorhome, 3 for a boat, 3 for a kitchen and pantry, 1 per garage cabinet or tool box. Swap every 30 days, so multiply by the months you're covering.
A camper from October to April is 4 a month for 7 months, about 28 pouches. That's why Buy 3 (30 pouches) is our most popular. See which offer fits.
Shipping and returns
Orders usually arrive in 6 to 10 business days, with tracking. Free shipping over $45.
If you use them in a space they're made for and mice still get in within 30 days of delivery, email us for a full refund. You don't send anything back. Full terms.
Easy as 1-2-3
Ten minutes in October covers you until spring. This is the routine the happiest reviewers we read all landed on by themselves.
Seal the gaps
A mouse fits through a gap the width of a pencil. Push copper mesh or steel wool into gaps around pipes, vents and door sweeps.

Stick pouches where they'd nest
Along walls, in corners, inside cabinets and near entry points. Use the adhesive dots so they stay up and in place.

Date it, swap at 30
Write today's date on each pouch and swap it at 30 days. Can't smell it anymore? Swap it early.

Here's exactly what happens after you place a pouch
No "gone in 48 hours." This is what to actually expect.
Strong scent, set up done
- Ten minutes of setupSeal the gaps you can find, stick pouches along walls and near entry points, write the date on each one.
- The smell is at its strongestPeppermint and cinnamon, a bit like a candle shop. Normal for the first few days.
The scent settles in
- It calms down for youStill clearly there when you open the cabinet or the camper door.
- The space smells wrong to a mouseA closed space full of strong plant oil is one they tend to pass on. That's the whole job.
Doing its job quietly
- Check your spots when you visitFresh droppings near a pouch usually means one of three things: mice were already there, too few pouches for the space, or the pouch is spent.
- Still air keeps it goingPouches in closed cabinets and covered storage last longest. Hot engine bays and drafty sheds use them up faster.
Time to swap
- Swap on day 30Check the date you wrote on each pouch. Swapping on time is the step that separates the 5 star reviews from the 1 star ones.
- Can't smell it? It's doneSwap it even if it hasn't been 30 days. Fresh pouch, same spot.
Three plant oils. Nothing that kills.
No rodenticide, no bait, no glue. Just a strong scent in a closed space.

Peppermint oil
The smell you notice first, and the one most people already know mice dislike.

Cinnamon oil
Adds a second strong scent on top of the mint. It's why people say the pouches smell like Christmas.

Cedarwood oil
The same scent people have used in closets and storage chests for generations.
Full ingredient list, including the carrier, is printed on every bag.
Directions of use
The #1 complaint about pouches is "they pooped right next to it." It's almost always one pouch doing the job of four. Here's how many to use at a time:
Which offer is right for me?
I'm protecting
One car or truck
2 pouches a month. One bag of 10 covers you for 5 months.
I'm protecting
A boat or two vehicles
A boat uses 3 pouches a month, so 20 covers November to April. Two vehicles use 4 a month (2 each), so 20 covers 5 months.
I'm protecting
A camper for the winter
4 pouches a month, October to April. 30 pouches, plus a free copper mesh roll and work gloves.
What's inside the bag
Will this work for me?
We pulled this from thousands of reviews of pouches like ours. Almost every 5 star review comes from the left column. Almost every 1 star review comes from the right.
Great fit
- Campers, travel trailers and motorhomes in storage
- Boats under a cover or shrink wrap
- Car and truck cabs, trunks and frunks
- Pantries, under the sink, behind the stove
- Garage cabinets, tool boxes, storage bins
- Cabins, tractor cabs, feed rooms with doors
Not a fit
- An open barn, carport or wide open garage
- Yards, gardens and holes in the ground
- Groundhogs, squirrels, moles or voles
- One pouch for a whole basement
- Mice living in your walls right now (plan below)
Already have mice living there?
A pouch won't move a nest full of babies, and nobody's pouch will in 48 hours. Seal the way in, set snap traps for a week or two until fresh droppings stop, clean up the old mess (gloves on, wet it down first), then put pouches out so the space doesn't get picked again. Our 2 and 3 bag offers come with a free copper mesh roll for the sealing step.
Why people choose Ivorlo
Honest about 30 days
Not 60, not 90. So you swap on time and it keeps working.
Enough to actually cover it
Our kits are sized for a full winter in a real space, not one pouch per house.
A date line on every pouch
The swap is the step people forget. Write the date when you put it out and you'll know when it's due.
Keep the pouches
If they don't keep mice out of the right kind of space, you get your money back.
No poison bait in the house
That's why most people with pets choose pouches over poison. They're still concentrated essential oils, so treat them like a bottle of peppermint oil.
What's not in it
- Rodenticide or poison bait
- Snap traps or glue boards
- Anything that kills a mouse
- A dead mouse rotting in your wall
What we ask you to do
- Keep pouches where pets and kids can't chew them
- Inside cabinets, vehicles, storage or up high
- Away from food and food containers
- Wash your hands after handling

Before we sold a single pouch, we read the bad reviews
Review data on about 45,000 ratings across the four best selling mouse pouches on Amazon. The complaints barely change from brand to brand.
What the 1 star reviews had in common
Of the reviews on the #1 selling pouch that mention how long it lasts, 195 of 258 are complaints. Most of that anger is about a promise, not the pouch.
What the 5 star reviews had in common
Small closed spaces, put out early, swapped on time. That's the whole difference.
Quotes are from public reviews of other brands' pouches, shown to explain how this kind of product performs. They aren't reviews of Ivorlo.
FAQ
Does it actually work?
In the right space, yes. Closed spaces like campers, boats, vehicles and cabinets, put out before mice settle in, with enough pouches and a swap every 30 days. It won't clear out mice already living somewhere, and it isn't made for open barns or yards. If you use it the way we describe and it doesn't keep mice out, you get your money back.
How long does one pouch last?
About 30 days. Less in a hot engine bay or a drafty shed, more in a still, closed cabinet. When you can't smell it, swap it.
Is it safe around my dog or cat?
There's no poison bait and nothing that kills. It's still concentrated plant oil, so keep pouches where pets can't chew them open: inside cabinets, vehicles, storage or up high. Check with your vet if your pet has a sensitivity.
I already have mice. Will these get rid of them?
Not on their own. Seal the way in, trap the ones that are there, clean up, then use pouches so the space isn't chosen again. For a big problem, call pest control and use pouches as the follow up.
How is this different from peppermint on cotton balls?
Cotton balls do something for a few days, then the oil evaporates. A pouch is a measured blend in a carrier that holds up for about a month.
Is the smell strong?
Strong for the first few days, then it settles. Think peppermint and cinnamon. Made for cabinets, vehicles and storage, not bedside tables.
Will it work on rats, squirrels or groundhogs?
We sell it for mice in enclosed spaces. Please don't buy it for squirrels, groundhogs, moles or anything in a yard. For rats, use traps and call a professional.
What if it doesn't work? Can I get my money back?
Yes. Use them in a space from the "great fit" list and if mice still get in within 30 days of delivery, email help@ivorlo.com for a full refund. Keep the pouches.
Back
If they don't keep mice out, you don't pay for them.
Use them in a space from the "great fit" list, the way we lay out above. If mice still get in within 30 days of delivery, email us and we'll refund you in full. You don't need to send anything back. A real person answers at help@ivorlo.com.
